This torch is seriously bright. I thought that there were several LEDs within this torch but there is only one which I find amazing. I had read about CREE LEDs before I ordered this torch so I knew that they were good but this was better than I had expected. I'm sure the range is more than 150m but then my eyesight is not so good anyway. I use it mostly when I stay at a country cabin I have with a solar panel system. Well, when the solar panel batteries run out during the evening, I've been balancing this torch on the table and using the light to see what I'm cooking. It's perfect when searching for fire wood.

I bought 9 LED torch. It's not bright at all. So, I tried this one. Having heard about the high quality of CREE LED. I never thought it would be so bright. The torch contains only one LED, but it's much bright than 9 LED torch I used. Besides, I like the long runtime.

150m beam distance? I am not sure, but it's very powerful. Beam distance is at least 100m.
