New LED Asia lighting initiative helps drive industry growth

The rapid growth of LED technology is opening up new and promising opportunities for the lighting industry and to support this trend, the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition has created LED Asia, a comprehensive zone dedicated to LED/OLED products.

By promoting opportunities within this fast growing LED sector we are offering the platform to showcase the changing face of the traditional lighting industry. Without LED lighting, growth in the lighting industry would be much slower."

LED Asia will cover nine halls and older 80,000 sqm of exhibition space. More than 1.300 LED exhibitors have already signed up for the zone including leading international players BridgeLux (USA), Citizen (Japan), CREE (USA), Delta (Taiwan), Everlight (Taiwan), Lextar (Taiwan), Nichia (Japan), Panasonic (Japan), Rohm (Japan), Seoul Semiconductor (Korea) and Toshiba (Japan). Supporting the zone concept will be the Asia LED Lighting Symposium delivering the latest market trends and technologies.
The Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition is held concurrently with Electrical Building Technology Guangzhou which supports the growing trend of eco-friendly buildings with a special focus on electrical engineering and building and home automation. Both exhibitions are part of Messe Frankfurt’s architecture and technology shows, headed by the biennial Light+BuiIding event in Frankfurt, Germany.
