Exhibition Spotlight | Refond Optoelectronics Shines at Electronica 2024 in Munich, Germany
From November 12 to 15, the highly anticipated ELECTRONICA 2024 was held in Munich, attracting global attention from the electronics industry.
At this premier event, Refond Optoelectronics showcased innovative products and solutions across four major sectors: automotive, electrical, Mini LED, and display-touch technologies. The exhibition highlighted Refond's latest technological advancements and applications, drawing significant interest from industry professionals.
Automotive Product Series
With the rapid rise of the new energy vehicle (NEV) market in recent years, the automotive LED sector has seen continuous growth. Refond Optoelectronics presented a series of products tailored for automotive applications, including LED interactive screen modules, ADB modules, Smart RGB ambient lights, and dual-color exterior ceramic LEDs, garnering widespread attention from attendees.
LED Interactive Screen Modules
Refond's LED interactive screen modules feature uniform surface light emission from single LEDs, creating a "light without visible lamp" effect. These modules are ideal for applications such as car grilles, sunroofs, and tail lights, offering personalized, intelligent human-vehicle interaction experiences.
ADB Matrix Light Modules
Refond's automotive-grade ADB (Adaptive Driving Beam) modules attracted considerable attention. Utilizing a "Chip on Board" design and proprietary DPC ceramic eutectic technology, these modules provide adaptive matrix lighting solutions with micron-level pixels and ultra-high resolution. With pixel options including 102, 84, 48, and 24, they open up new design possibilities for vehicle headlights.
Smart RGB Ambient Lights
As a key component of vehicle interiors, ambient lighting enhances driving comfort. Refond's Smart RGB ambient lights employ 3535 dual-wire-controlled IC LED technology, enabling independent RGB control, 256 grayscale settings, energy-saving modes, and sleep modes. These features deliver a premium, enjoyable driving experience.
Dual-Color Exterior Ceramic LEDs
In response to trends favoring miniaturized, high-power, and integrated automotive LEDs, Refond has developed high-quality ceramic LEDs using a domestically pioneered hot-press eutectic process. With power ratings from 0.5W to 3.0W, these LEDs feature low thermal resistance, high-temperature durability, and customizable luminous areas, providing automotive-grade solutions for diverse applications.
Mini LED Innovations
Refond unveiled industry-leading Mini LED innovations, including automotive-grade pixelated intelligent tail lights. Leveraging the high integration of Mini LEDs, these tail lights deliver rich graphical displays and animations, meeting various interaction needs for entertainment, welcome greetings, and safety alerts.
At the exhibition, Refond also showcased Mini direct-view lightboxes for applications in smartphones, earbuds, wearables, and dynamic car logos. These solutions feature ultra-thin profiles, flexible displays, high resolution, and tight spacing, customizable to client specifications.
Additionally, Refond's 15.6-inch automotive Mini LED COB backlight module, which uses KSF phosphor technology, received notable attention. It offers ultra-high color gamut, vivid displays, and features such as integrated light-driving, ultra-slim design, and high brightness. Compliant with AEC-Q102 automotive standards, it delivers exceptional visual experiences for in-car displays.
Electrical Component Series
In the electrical sector, Refond displayed CHIP LEDs, optocouplers, and infrared & sensor components widely used in consumer electronics, home appliances, security, and communication devices. Refond’s CHIP LEDs, in particular, stand out with their zero-defect failure rates, high ESD resistance, weather durability, and strong stability, making them adaptable to various scenarios.
Display-Touch and E-Paper Series
This year, Refond introduced a range of eco-friendly and sustainable e-paper solutions. With bistable properties, ultra-low power consumption, wide viewing angles, and paper-like displays, these solutions range from black-and-white to full-color applications.
One standout innovation was the Prism Color-Changing Film, featuring flexibility, fast refresh rates, and low static power consumption. Its potential applications span consumer electronics, automotive, home appliances, and architectural aesthetics.
A Global Vision
At Electronica 2024, Refond Optoelectronics once again demonstrated its strong innovation capabilities and deep technological expertise across automotive, electrical, Mini LED, and display-touch domains.
Looking ahead, Refond will continue to advance its global strategy, leveraging innovative technologies and robust production capacity to provide high-quality, market-driven products and services. By doing so, the company aims to contribute significantly to the growth of the electronics industry worldwide.
