Korean Government Supports Korean Pavilion
To Exhibit the Latest LED Technologies in China Lighting Expo in April
The Korean governmental organization, INNOBIZ (Association for Innovative Business) will organize the Korean Pavilion to participate in China Lighting Expo 2013 dated 25-27 Apr, 2013 at China International Exhibition Center, Beijing, PR China. The objectives of the participation are to demonstrate the achievements of Korean LED industry and promote technical exchange with LED enterprises in China. The South Korean government announced, they will invest 300 billion Korean won (about USD 279 million) to support the R&D of light-emitting diode (LED Lights). With the sufficient subsidies and supports from the government, the enterprises could be able to develop the high efficiency LED lighting integration and enhance LED technology development. Pavilion exhibitors will enjoy up to 50% subsidy on various costs, including booth rental, booth construction, freight forwarding and many other supporting items. Undoubtedly, Korean Government, LED enterprises and China Lighting Expo shares the same objective – To promote the environmentally-friendly lighting technology.
INNOBIZ devotes to explore the development potential of enterprises with leading technology and to promote business creativity and technology exchange. With the great support from INNOBIZ, LED industry is growing rapidly in Korea. Both Korea and China value the growth of LED lighting and put up their efforts in the technology advancement. Fortuitously, both countries have launched LED energy-saving policies in recent years.
In China, committee combined by The National Development and Reform Commission and The National Ministry of Science and Technology had issued “Planning on LED Energy-Saving Industry”. It is expected that the local made high-end LED products would reach the international level in 2015, with significant energy-saving enhancement. It is also estimated the output value for the LED energy-saving industry would have yearly increment at around 30% and could achieve RMB 450 billion in 2015, of which RMB180 billion will be for LED lighting products.
On the other hand, Korean Government has set a goal on energy-saving in 2011, stated that 100 % of the public utilities in Korea would attain to exercise LED lighting in 2020, while the overall LED usage would be increased up to 60%. Moreover, the Korean Government has continuously enhanced the quality on core components as well as the efficiency of the LED products, which has led the LED industry to the new breakthrough. LED would soon be applied widely to medical and vehicles fields, which would also bring the unprecedented influence to different industries.
As seen, both countries are executing LED development plans intensely and their achievements would be arisen on China Lighting Expo 2013.
China Lighting Expo was held with exceptional success in 2012. The scale is expected to greatly expand in 2013. Exhibition area will reach 35,000sqm, dividing into theme halls of Road Lighting & Energy-saving Lighting, LED & OLED Lighting Technology, Brand Hall, Design Hall and Intelligent Building & Lighting Control System Hall. Undoubtedly, China Lighting Expo has become the largest lighting exhibition in Northern China and it takes the lead of the lighting industry on its trend and creativity.
