Sinopatt Technology Boosts Competiveness with High Shipment Rate and Operating efficiency

Following the expansion of LED chips and packaging industry, pattern sapphire substrate (PSS) manufacturer  Sinopatt Technology successfully scales up production capacity by offering stable technology, improvement in equipment and superior inventory turnover for costs control and operating competence.
 
Currently, Sinopatt is the largest PSS manufacturer in the market. LEDinside interviewed with Kai Kang, President of Sinopatt about the opportunities and challenges in LED and sapphire industries.
 
Sinopatt Technology mainly utilizes equipment made in China while continuingly optimizing technology and upgrading production capacity of equipment for production capacity expansion. Starting from 2Q15, the monthly 2-inch PSS shipment reached approximately 250,000 pieces and rose to 800,000 pieces by 4Q15. The company became one of the top three largest PSS manufacturers around the world. Sinopatt started scaling up production capacity in 2016. Following the company’s plan, it is to realize 1.6 million pieces monthly shipment in 2016 while boosting the shipment to 2.5 million pieces by 2Q17.
 
Currently, Sinopatt’s major clients include leading LED chip manufacturers, making the company the largest PSS manufacturer, eyeing up to 50% of the market share. Meanwhile, following the advancement of LED chip efficiency and cost reduction demand, Sinopatt is prepared to provide clients with 6-inch large size substrates though currently 2-inch and 4-inch products are more common on the market.
 
Products from Sinopatt are widely accepted by LED chip manufacturers as reliable technology and product quality has contributed to its product yield rate. Sinopatt Technology successfully scales up production capacity by offering stable technology, improvement in technology and superior inventory turnover for costs control and operating competence. The company eyes supplying products to LED chip manufacturers and its supply chain.
