Aimtec new LED drivers provide high output current

Aimtec Inc. has introduced the first two series of its new line of step-down DC-DC LED drivers - the AMLD-IZ and AMLDL-Z. The company says the new LED drivers meet the rigorous demands for environment friendly LED lighting solutions.

    the AMLD-IZ

    the AMLDL-Z

From an wide input range of 5 -36VDC and 7-30VDC the AMLD-IZ and AMLDL-Z LED drivers provide output current accuracy of up to ±2% thus ensuring the constant color and brightness that is required by today’s most demanding LED applications.

Producing up to 22.5 watts of power in a DIP24 package (31.80 × 20.30 × 10.20 mm), or compact DIP14 (20.32 x 10.16 x 6.88 mm) both AMLD-IZ and AMLDL-Z series includes a remote ON/OFF control function as well as both PWM and analog voltage dimming control (0 – 100%).

Standard output currents choices include 300mA, 350mA, 500mA, 600mA and 700mA to make these drivers compatible with a wide range of LEDs applications from variety of manufacturers without the need for any external components.

Boasting efficiencies as high as 96%, Aimtec’s LED drivers are designed to be as reliable as the LEDs they drive, allowing them to be used at an operating temperature of -40oC to +85oC at full load.

Aimtec’s LED drivers are ideal for either single unit or arrays of LEDs for lighting applications that include advertising displays, road and rail traffic signs and signals, exterior and interior lighting for automotive, consumer products and a wide range of industrial products, including telecommunication applications.

Both series are competitive priced and provide excellent quality/cost value. Samples are available from stock and can be ordered immediately.
