Rather, the school will retrofit it’s nearly 100 outdoor light poles with light-emitting diodes (LED) that are solar-powered and wired with smart technology to shut on and off automatically.
Sculptures by Tom Joyce, the world-famous Santa Fe artist, will also be used to decorate the campus. The sculptures will also include photovoltaic LED technology to light walkways, building entrances and other areas.
The new products were developed by Noribachi LLC, an Albuquerque-based company dedicated to adapting solar and other clean technology to every day consumer products.
