CIL Appointed as Future Lighting Solutions Integration Member

CIL, the electronics design and manufacturing services company based in UK, has been appointed as a Future Lighting Solutions Integration Member.  This means the company is approved to provide design and manufacturing services in the integration of solid-state lighting systems for customers of Future Lighting Solutions.  This appointment followed a detailed assessment programme during which CIL demonstrated its extensive experience in LED and optoelectronics design and manufacture.

CIL will be working with both existing and new customers in the design and integration of LEDs as light sources across a wide range of applications in the defence, commercial and industrial sectors. The company has already designed and developed LED based products that are successfully selling worldwide.

CIL offers experience of nearly 20 years in the field of LED and optoelectronics design and manufacture having formed a team of specialist design and application engineers experienced in the theoretical modelling of LED applications, their respective operational criteria and thermal performance.  More importantly, CIL has the skill and experience to ensure that the final product meets the theoretical models.

CIL provides an extensive early model and total product manufacturing capability offering: die bond and wire-bonding LED and other silicon based products, automatic gold and aluminium wire-bonding and full surface mount and conventional electronics assembly plus comprehensive test and verification over many test platforms.
