Philips Released a new range of LED Bulbs for the Indian Market

Philips Electronics India Ltd has released new range of LED consumer bulbs, a 5W retrofit bulb along with the 2W candle and 7WSpotlight bulbs for various lighting applications inside homes for the Indian market.

According to the company, the new range of bulbs are not only upto 80% energy efficient compared to traditional  incandescent bulbs but also are capable of producing better quality and more versatile lighting and has life of about 15 years.

Murali Sivaraman, vice chairman and MD , Philips Electronics India noted that these bulbs have been developed by the company R&D Center in India and developed for the Indian conditions of varied temperatures and can withstand voltage fluctuations.
