Taiwan Delta Electronics to Promote LED Lighting on Its Own Brand

It’s reported that Taiwan Delta Electronics is about to sell LED Lighting products on its own Brand in Taiwan’s retail stores at the end of 2010 as well as likely in overseas markets .

According to Delta, regulation, standardization and modulization are made up its three main criteria for LED lighting market growth. Besides, product designs in not only aesthetics and light but also color control will also play major roles.

Meanwhile, Delta is also confident of Japanese market, based on the market penetration of LED light bulbs in the country will rise to 40% in 2011 from 20% in 2010.

Delta asserted that the cost of a LED light bulb will fall to under US$3 in 2015 ,and penetration of the lighting market will reach 50% and up to 90% in 2020.

Nowadays, the company is paving the way for its own-brand products for the Taiwan market. So far, its products have been available in over 20 lighting stores.
