Energy & Automation Inc to Break Ground LED Manufacturing Facility in Luling, Texas

Energy & Automation Inc. (E&A) will set up a 30,000-square-foot facility which be called LED Manufacturing Inc. to manufacture and assemble LEDs in the Luling Business/Industrial Park on U.S. Highway 183 in Luling, Texas.

The new plant will provide energy-efficient, long-lasting lights for residential, commercial and industrial consumers across the country.

At present, the company is leasing a 12,000-square-foot site in Luling during construction, expected to begin early 2011 and take six months to complete.

After the completion, it will hire 50 employees initially with plans to potentially double the workforce in 12 months.

It’s reported that the City of Luling and the Luling Economic Development Corporation teamed together with E&A to construct the manufacturing facility, working in conjunction with the Texas Department of Agriculture to secure a Texas Capital Fund Real Estate loan to help finance the project.
