Orb Optronix to demonstrate its LED characterization products during Strategies In Light® tradeshow

Orb Optronix, the industry leader in LED Characterization Systems, will be demonstrating its LED characterization products in Booth 602 during the Strategies In Light trade show at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA on February 10, 11, 12, 2010. Orb will be presenting in tandem with Labsphere, Orb’s manufacturing and sales partner for their innovative ETO (Electrical-Thermal-Optical) LED characterization system.

Orb Optronix co-founder Rand Lee and Sales and Marketing Director Rob Leonard will be on site at Booth 602 giving live demonstrations of the company’s products. They will be exhibiting real-time characterization of LEDs using their 20” High-Power Liquid-Cooled System for ETO LED characterization.

The company’s ETO LED Characterization Systems have both automated data acquisition and extensive data analysis features. ETO Systems allow engineers to automatically sequence measurements of light output and spectrum over a wide range of temperatures and currents, and comprehensive data analysis features allow users to quickly and easily view different groupings of data in over 300 graphs using Orb’s proprietary software running on Microsoft Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.

The company will also be displaying the OmniDrive™ 8 channel LED power supply, previously marketed as LifEDrive™. The OmniDrive™ is specifically designed for LED Pulse-Width Modulated Prototyping and Research and Development applications. Each OmniDrive™ has 8 separate current output channels. Each output channel can be independently assigned a current amplitude via computer controlled software. Four internal pulse generators can be programmed to control frequency, duty cycle, and phase. Each output channel may be configured to use one of the four internal pulse generators or one of 2 external waveforms.
