EvoLucia, Inc., the LED lighting division of Sarasota-based Sunovia Energy Technologies, announced today that they have hired Kevin Arthur as Vice President of International Sales and Marketing. Arthur previously served as head of international sales and marketing for lighting industry giant Cooper Industries, where he was responsible for growing sales from $5 million to $37 million.
As Vice President of International Sales and Marketing, Arthur will be responsible for spearheading global sales and marketing of the company’s advanced LED lighting products and managing a network of international sales representatives and consultants.
Prior to heading Cooper Industries’ international sales division, Arthur formed Lighting Technology, Inc., a lighting manufacturer representative firm specializing in a wide range of commercial, industrial and utility lighting products as well as lighting controls. He served as Adjunct Professor at Harper College, Palatine, IL from 1999 through 2001, instructing lighting in the School of Architecture and Interior Design. He is an active member of IES and is LC (lighting certification) from National Council on Qualification for the Lighting Professionals (NCQPL). He has a B.S. in business administration from the University of Dayton and an MBA in international business from Benedictine University.
