China New Media Corp. Signs Agreement for Plans to Install Five Mega-LED Screens in Shenyang City

China New Media Corporation, a fast-growing advertising media company operating the largest outdoor media network in Dalian, China, today announced it entered a Strategic Alliance Agreement with a newspaper giant in China -- Liaoning Daily Press Group -- for plans to install and operate five mega-sized LED media screens. China New Media Corp. estimates it will invest RMB 40 million (US$5.86 million) to install and operate the five large-sized LED screens with a total size of over 1,500 square meters. The screens will be installed in key business districts in Shenyang and Shenyang North Railway Station.

Liaoning Daily Press Group is a giant in the newspaper industry in Northeast China, owning three magazines and eight mainstream newspapers including Liaoning Evening News, Liaoning Daily, and Peninsula Morning Paper. The circulation of its newspapers and periodicals is up to 1.5 million, and it also has extensive customer base. The strategic cooperation between China New Media Corp. and Liaoning Daily Press Group will enable both parties to leverage mutual advantages and realize short-term earnings by integrating resources and optimizing the media display in Shenyang at the same time.

Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning Province and the core city in Northeast China, is located at the center of the Northeast Asian economic zone and surrounding Bohai economic rim. Nationally, the city is an important strategic region for economic development and also an engine for reaching the northeastern advertising market. The 12th National Games of China in 2013 will be held in Shenyang, an event anticipated as an important opportunity for growth.

James Wang, chief executive officer of China New Media Corp, stated: "We are very pleased to cooperate with such a prestigious news organization. Because of this favorable alliance, we anticipate the project will generate sales rapidly. We project that sales revenue realized from the project can reach 20 million renminbi in 2010."
