Apple's new 27-inch LED Cinema Display

Apple revealed new 27-inch LED Cinema Display this Tuesday. It features 2560 x 1440 resolution with 16:9 aspect ratio, a built-in microphone to complement the iSight camera and speakers, a built-in 3-port powered USB 2.0 hub, and a built-in MagSafe charging connector for Apple's laptop lineup.

The display also uses in-plane switching technology for a 178 degree viewing angle, and ambient light sensor like the company's portable devices.

The 27-inch LED Cinema Display is priced at US$999 and will be available in September. The company's 24-inch model is still available and costs $799.
