Lumitek began trading with paying for US$11.46 million in Taiwan

Recently, LED chipmaker Lumitek started trading on Taiwan's emerging stock market, with paying for NT$360 million (US$11.46 million) .

In 2009, Lumitek’s revenues were NT$270 million, and net loss totaled NT$4.07 million with an EPS of NT$0.11.But in the first half of 2010, revenues were up to NT$234 million, Gross margin was 17.68%, operating income was NT$23.9 million and net profit reached NT$26.58 million with an EPS of NT$0.65.The company had submitted an application for listing on the emerging stock market on September 14 .

Lumitek was established in 2004 and mainly produces LED chips on 2-inch sapphire wafers and has been developing production process for 4- and 6-inch wafers. The company provides specialized wafer dicing services, including grinding, laser scribing, probing, and sorting, PI and others, and firstly provided LED back-end chip process turnkey service for upstream epitaxial wafer providers.
