Daintree Networks Expands the Wireless Lighting Community with New ControlScope Connected Partners

Leading Wireless Lighting Controls Company Adds Six Members to Partner Program

Daintree Networks, Inc., the leading provider of wireless lighting control solutions for intelligent buildings, announced that six new companies have joined its ControlScope Connected Program, the only program of its kind in the lighting industry. With the latest additions, this growing ecosystem now consists of 16 partners that manufacture a variety of products including sensors, wall switches, ballasts and LED drivers for lighting and beyond.

Through the ControlScope Connected Program, Daintree works with leading lighting and building controls manufacturers to enable interoperability between their products and Daintree’s own ControlScope software platform, all using the ZigBee wireless communications standard. This ensures that customers benefit from a wide choice of reliable, cost-effective and innovative products for enterprise control, rather than being tied to a single vendor’s proprietary technology.

“The continued and rapid growth of ControlScope Connected demonstrates the power of an open-standard, interoperable approach – both to bring innovation to customers and to create new opportunities for manufacturers,” said Danny Yu, CEO of Daintree Networks. “We are committed to bringing intelligent, energy-efficient lighting controls to every commercial building, and a strong community of trusted vendors that work together seamlessly is a critical step.”

The newest additions to the ControlScope Connected partners include:
•    Crescent/Stonco (a Philips brand) provides lighting solutions for commercial, industrial and institutional markets with luminaires that are the hallmark of the industry.
•    eldoLED develops, produces and markets high-performance LED drivers for general white lighting and full color RGB-W/A LED lighting applications.
•    EPtronics is a leading innovator, designer and manufacturer of premium standard and custom LED drivers.
•    Lusio Solid-State Lighting manufactures high lumen output, energy-efficient high bay LED lighting fixtures for virtually any commercial or industrial application.
•    Precision-Paragon (P2) is an energy-efficient fixture manufacturer, founded in 1992, that designs and manufactures LED, fluorescent, and induction retrofit kits and OEM fixtures.
•    WattStopper makes energy-efficient lighting controls for commercial and residential use.

Designed to encourage vendor collaboration and development, the ControlScope Connected Program is the industry's only multi-vendor community of interoperable wireless lighting products. By using the ZigBee protocol to enable interoperability among a wide range of products and manufacturers, ControlScope Connected makes it easier for businesses to adopt intelligent lighting systems, allowing more choice among vendors. The program offers partners the ability to utilize the benefits of wireless standards and interoperability and provide their customers with technology that reduces energy use and cost as well as lessens the complexity of integration into existing and future building systems.

As part of the program, members receive access to technical and design assistance, as well as ongoing sales and co-marketing opportunities. To learn more about ControlScope Connected, visit www.daintree.net/partners.
