Landscape Forms has released LEO, the novel, outdoor LED lighting solutions including pedestrian lighting of 12-16 ft height and streetscape lighting of 20-25 ft height.
This has been designed by industrial designer John Rizzi.
LEO uses LED light sources with a lifespan of 60,000 to 100,000 h producing more lumens with less wattage than conventional bulbs. It employs warm white LEDs liberating a more pleasant visual experience than cool white light.
A Cyro-Acrylyte lens placed over the LED array alleviates and diffuses the light, providing an array of light with 85% light transmission, reducing light scatter, hot spots and glare and delivering more appropriate light levels for night vision within the peripheral range.
The LEDs employed in LEO support Dark Skies, are free from mercury and lead, and uses 3500° K warm white LEDs. The aluminum material for manufacturing LEO contains up to 70% recycled content and recyclable structural parts, and its polyester power coat finish is virtually HAPS and VOC free.
