TC Interconnect Holdings Limited’s LED Lighting Products Received National Quality Standard Certification

TC Interconnect Holdings Limited announced that it has obtained national quality standard certification for LED lighting products. Acquiring such certification is one of the stipulations to bid for Chinese government’s projects.

Since the group’s LED road lighting products won the bid of the Project of Three National Ministries, it has obtained the Product Certificate and China Certificate for Energy Conservation Product issued by China Quality Certification Centre (CQC), which is an official recognition to the Group’s LED road lighting products in accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on Product Quality.

The test took non-stop 6,000 hours, which included three phases – 140 days, 135 days and 180 days.

The Product Certificate involved the Group’s LED lighting products which were tested by CQC according to certification rules CQC12-465313-2010 (Safety and Electromagnetic Compatibility Certification Rules for Lights and Electrical supply track systems for Luminaires) and, under which, 5 sets of standards and technical requirements, including GB7000.5-2005 (the Safety Requirement of Road and Street Lighting), GB7000.1-2007 (Luminaries general safety requirements and tests). 

The China Certificate for Energy Conservation Product was issued after the Group’s Maxcolor brand of products passed the tests conducted according to CQC3127-2010 (Energy Conservation Certification Criteria for LED Products for Street Lighting & Tunnel Lighting).
