DiCon Lighting Introduces Cielux as Its New Business Division

DiCon Lighting announced the launch of its new LED business unit, Cielux. Cielux was founded on a simple concept: to bring brilliant light with user-friendly interfaces into the home. Its family of products focuses on LED driven lamps that emit radiant light for task, accent and mood lighting. Cielux will ship its first product, LUNE, an LED mood light, on March 1st.

“Our goal was to bring professional-level lighting capabilities and controls to the everyday consumer, so we set out to create a new way to experience and interact with light,” said Brian Chiang, Cielux’s Managing Director. “Colors and shapes play an integral role in shaping our emotions and constructing our senses and the LUNE is perfectly designed to accentuate these features.”

Using DiCon Lighting’s Dense Matrix LED™ technology, the LUNE emits seven preset colors and two continuous color-changing modes, and each color also showcases adjustable intensity to produces a myriad of brilliant colors. Cielux then broke down the complexities of professional-level lighting controls by creating a simple single touch control interface that allows users to intuitively operate the light. Consuming only nine watts of energy, the LUNE brings vibrant, brilliant colors to any occasion or setting.
