It’s reported that Oxley Developments has supplied a dual-mode LED DC Combi Lights for the Foxhound British army patrol vehicle.
The lights can be operated in normal and blackout/emergency modes and are an alternative to traditional filament lighting.
Foxhound is the British Army name for Ocelot, the Light Protected Patrol Vehicle (LPPV) designed and developed by Force Protection Europe.
And Force Protection Europe has won a contract to supply 200 of the British-designed vehicles to the Ministry of Defence.
Oxley’s LED DC Combi Lights have been selected for the first phase of vehicles to be manufactured, and have been awarded the contract for all 200 Foxhounds.
