In the midst of a vigorous global push towards energy conservation and environmental protection, over the past few years Taiwan's lighting industry firms have successively developed all kinds of new energy conserving lighting products, including outdoor lighting that received the US's coveted ETL certification; LED bulbs and tubes that are both CE certified and RoHS compliant; emergency lighting and wall fixtures with both Taiwan's BSMI and Germany's GS certifications; innovative, specially molded LED candle bulbs; LED napkin holders; small, easy to operate, high quality LED testing instruments; and different types of lighting such as skylights, food display lighting, cabinet lighting; street lights; dimmable bulbs that offer consumers flexibility; and lighting control systems capable of creating distinctive atmospheres.
With new lighting that utilizes aesthetic and design considerations and integrates eco-friendliness and technology, TiLS will inspire buyers with the lat4est breakthroughs and advances in contemporary lighting.
Complete LED Industry Chain; Expands into Global Markets
Taiwan holds the world's top spot in LED output and its industrial strength and LED industry chain ranks second in output value. Also, with more than 30 year's strength in the optical semiconductor industry, and through the integration of diverse industries and R&D, over the past few years Taiwan's LED lighting industry has had astonishingly rapid growth which has helped to turn around this once traditional industry.
It is plausible that with the combined efforts of government and the public that Taiwan over the next five years could become the world's production base for high value LED lighting products and the world's largest LED light source and module supplier. Complementing Taiwan's dominant industry strength, the first ever TILS emerged in 2010. In one fell swoop, it successfully pushed Taiwan's lighting industry onto the world stage.
This four-day show attracted a total of 10,913 professional visitors and is currently the only domestic professional lighting exhibition to receive so much attention! This year's TiLS continues to provide industry players with a prestigious platform to display their meticulously developed lighting products.
In addition, a complete upstream, midstream, and downstream industry structure allows Taiwan's LED industry to display its strengths to buyers while assisting domestic firms in carving out a niche in the international lighting production supply chain and maximizing opportunities to expand into global markets.
