Light Trees Decorate The Eco

There are some trees made of quick-growing bamboo and super efficient LED lights. These unique lighting devices are constructed of large, free-standing segments of bamboo. Sprouting from each of these “branches” is a leaf –shaped translucent casing lit up by a single LED light. All of these lights are networked via a central controller.

Each individual LED light can be controller individually and the entire system is designed to operate reliably outdoors under a variety of environmental conditions(rain, sun, etc).

According to I Green Spot, the Light Trees were created by electronics engineer Bill Watson and will be featured at the upcoming Lighting in Bottle Festival in Silverado, California.
