GE Lighting Appoints New Asia CEO

GE Lighting announced today that Oscar Wong will be promoted asAsia Lighting President & CEO effective November 1, 2012, continuing to position the company leadingthe lighting revolution by investing in energy efficient products, transforming commercial capability and driving focus.

Oscar Wong, a 27- year veteranwithsolid experience in sales, commercial operations and general management functions, returned to GE to assume his current role as General Manager, GE Lighting China in July. Prior to that, he spent 12 years in Emerson Electric and Process Management for different commercial leadership roles till 2006 and then he worked for GE Intelligent Platform as China General Manager from 2006 to 2010. Before returning to GE, Oscar served as VP of Industrial China for Pall Industrial Corporation, based in Beijing.
