Seesmart Technologies, Inc.’s two LED lighting products have met the rigorous performance and efficiency requirements set by DesignLights Consortium (DLC) and Lighting Design Lab (LDL) and are now listed as qualified solid-state lighting products.
The listings now make each of these products eligible for significant rebates offered by numerous municipalities and utilities throughout the United States. In addition, these rebates allow for even faster return on investment (ROI), enhancing the already attractive ROI realized from the energy savings of high-efficiency LED lighting alone.
Approved for inclusion on DLC's Qualified Product List (QPL) is Seesmart's 130-watt Cobra Head Streetlight (SKU #190104). This high-efficiency LED streetlight emits nearly 12,000 lumens of day-white light with a color temperature between 5500K and 6000K. It is designed to replace metal-halide or high-pressure sodium streetlights that consume 250 watts of electricity or more.
LDL has listed Seesmart's 100-watt LED Day-White High Bay luminaire (SKU #120001) with a light output of more than 7500 lumens and a color temperature of 5500K to 6000K. These LED fixtures use about half the electricity of the traditional metal-halide and high-pressure sodium high bays they are designed to replace.
"We are especially satisfied that these key product approvals will create even more cost-saving opportunities for our customers," said Ray Sjolseth, President of Seesmart Technologies, Inc. "At Seesmart, we pay meticulous attention to quality and efficiency when designing and manufacturing our LED lighting products, and most of our products are also fully certified by UL, ETL, CE, and RoHS. We look forward to offering more DLC- and LDL-listed products in the near future as we continue to improve the quality and cost advantages of LED lighting."
