According to Minister of Economic Minister of Economic Affairs Shih Yen-shiang, the first subsidy will cover low-income house. It’s estimated that 200,000 households will benefit from the plan.

According to Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs, these LED bulbs will be sent to the eligible families before the Spring Festival. Every family will get two LED bulbs, nearly saving 200 kw/h electricity and more than NT$ 500 per year.
