ELC, CELMA Merges into LightingEurope

On December 5, ELC and CELMA, two organizations from the European lighting industry, have merged into a new organization called as LightingEurope in Brussels.

The new organization is dedicated in standing for the interests of European lighting industry, and settling difficulties in LED innovation. Additionally, it claimed as the sound of Europe lighting industry, which presents many lighting associations and all kinds of European lighting enterprises.

ELC is a European bulb manufacturers alliance, and CELMA is a European association of lamps and lanterns. Then, LightingEurope will take the place of the two organizations.

LightingEurope is not only engaged in leading Europe and global lighting, but also dedicated in creating a platform for development and communication. The founders of LightingEurope contain 8 ELC members, such as GE, Havells Sylvania, Osram, Philips and Toshiba, and Panasonic and Zumtobel. And Many CELMA members also will join LightingEurope.
