OCG Lighting recruits industry expert to support rapid development

LED specialists OCG Lighting have recruited Mike Edwards as Business Development Manager, who brings the wealth of over 20 years experience to a growing team.

OCG Lighting has made several new appointments in recent weeks following the successful of acquisition of leading LED supplier Kudos Business Technologies.

Mike’s strong track record includes management positions at Ansell Lighting and Tamlite Lighting, where he oversaw product design, development and sourcing for a range of blue-chip companies. For the last three years he has been a serving member of the Lighting Association Technical Committee.

“I was attracted by OCG’s strong history of identifying and providing technology-based savings to businesses”, Mike explained. “I was also impressed with the quality of the NeoBulb product the company has gained exclusive distribution rights to.”

Last month OCG Lighting announced that they had secured a major deal to be the sole UK distributor for Taiwanese manufacturer NeoPac Optoelectronics Inc. whose innovative LED technology boasts a unique thermal management system.
Simon Leggett, OCG Lighting’s Managing Director, welcomed the appointment saying:
