LED Korea 2013 to Hold on January 30th

The 7th annual LED Korea 2013 is to take place from January 30th to February 1st in Seoul, Korea, and manufacturers and suppliers of LED products, equipment and materials will get together to discuss the latest trends, technologies and business opportunities in LED manufacturing.

The global LED market is anticipated to exceed $13 billion in 2013, driven by continued double-digit growth in solid state lighting. Global manufacturing capacity will grow 24% in 2013 with Korea continuing a leading position, representing over 15% of the world’s production capacity.

Co-located with SEMICON Korea 2013, both events will feature over 500 exhibiting companies from 20 countries and more than 45,000 attendees. LED Korea will feature a two-day technical conference to present the latest perspectives on LED manufacturing technologies, materials innovations, advanced packaging solutions, and more.

On Wednesday, the market session presents an LED industry overview, China SSL market outlook, and LED and Solid State Lighting Standardization issues in the U.S. Technical sessions will also be held on substrate developments, yield and binning advances from Philips Lumileds, and developments in Korean and university research and government development programs.

Thursday programs feature manufacturing technology presentations from Bridgelux, Veeco Instruments, SEMES, Laytec AG, WOOREE ATEC, KOPTI, Synopsis, and Ehwa Womens University.
