LiteOn October Revenue Undergoes Exponential Growth

LiteOn global consolidated revenue for October reached NT $19.45 billion (US $66 million), a growth of 9 percent compared with last October. The company’s core businesses including power solutions and camera modules both reached record highs in October. Accumulated global revenue from Jan. – Oct. reached NT $173 billion


Benefits from increase in global demand for cloud applications used in high-end Internet equipment, server power management systems, mobile devices, and gaming consoles lead to power solutions  revenue upturn of 20 percent from the same period last year. For camera modules, with a rise in global market standing for high-end product production capacity expansion, smooth shipments, tablets and smartphones, monthly revenue had a yearly increase of 50 percent.


Storage devices benefitted from growth in end market demands and increasing market standing. Solid State Disk (SSD) October revenue had a monthly increase close to 70 percent, a substantial growth from last October. Gaming console related products during the peak period lead to smooth shipments, with monthly revenue annual growth rate doubling.


Benefitting from successful mass production and from global lighting brand client demands, October revenue for LED component and lighting application products grew almost 10 percent compared to the same period last year, . October revenue underwent a yearly growth of nearly 50 percent. In regards for LED lighting applications, increasing energy efficiency demands for street lights in the North American market and smooth shipments lead to a monthly revenue growth of almost 10 percent. Automotive lighting revenue for October continued to rise.
