Samsung Integrates OLED and LCD Division

Samsunng Display has integrated the company’s OLED dicision and LCD division according to an announcement on December 11th.

Samsung Display was established in 2012 through a merger between Samsung Mobile Display and S-LCD. The company hoped to realize organic integration between OLED and LCD through the merger.

 “To respond to the rapidly changing market environment, as well as to proactively cope with the changes in management environment, we decided to shift toward an integrated system,” said a Samsung Display official.

The company also unified its marketing by integrating both sales and marketing division into a strategy marketing division, according to Korea IT Times.
