GE Lighting will provide a complete energy-efficient lighting solution for the Cirebon Superblock Mall located in West Java, Indonesia. More than 600 light points will be fitted with the LED Tetra and CMH systems to create a welcoming shopping experience and distinctive night façade for the mall.Cirebon Superblock Mall is a new five-storey lifestyle and entertainment mall and part of the Cirebon Superblock integrated development. GE’s lighting solution will generate energy savings as well as reduce the need for maintenance in the long term due to the longer product service life.

• LED Tetra series: PowerMax and MiniMax (outdoor/facade and cove lighting)
• CMH Lamps (indoor illumination)
• Biax DBX, Tetra AL10 systems (indoor columns and ceilings)
With GE’s lighting solution,the estimated savings on an operating level amount toUS$15,000 per annumin terms of energy usage and maintenance costs compared to traditional lighting system. From an environmental perspective, the energy savings is equivalent to eliminating approximately 162,000 lbs of carbon dioxideemissions per year, or creating 20 acres of new trees.
