Ledtech Sees Sales Grow in 2013

Taiwanese LED package manufacturer Ledtech consolidated revenue forDecember  reached NT $170 million (US $5.6 million), a monthly increase of 39.72 percent and YoY growth of 25.74 percent. Growth was from client orders for low temperature lighting being deferred to December as well as from client Lunar New Year preorders. The company’s total revenue for last year was NT$ 1.67 billion, a yearly growth of 4.81 percent. 

Consolidated revenue for December reached NT$ 170 million due to October and November client orders being postponed to December. In addition, with the upcoming holidays at the end of January for Lunar New Year, some clients ordered in advance. 

January and February will be affected by the Chinese Lunar New Year holidays which is estimated to impact about 15 days. January revenue is anticipated to dip from December. LED package components make up around 60 percent of Ledtech’s total revenue, the remaining 40 percent is from finished products. Low temperature lighting constitutes 33 percent of the total revenue for the company’s application field with North America as its main market. Other fields include household appliances, industrial lighting, commercial lighting, and more.
