Servcorp To Use Nualight LED Lighting Globally

Servcorp, the world’s leading premium office space provider with over 150 locations in 23 countries worldwide, is to use Nualight LED lighting in all of its new and refurbished office locations it has been announced.

Nualight is a specialist LED lighting technology company focused on retail, commercial and industrial markets.  Sustainability is a core Servcorp value resulting in a move to LED for all its new offices which are typically located in flagship buildings in major cities around the globe.

The deal is also the result of a collaboration between Nualight and Light Energy Australia, which has now evolved into a joint venture, trading as Nualight ANZ, which will focus on the growing customer demand for LED lighting solutions in Australia and New Zealand.

Servcorp locations in Australia and the UK have already been fitted with the Nualight Blaze solution in this ongoing global LED transformation programme.

Nualight’s LED lighting solution, using their flagship Blaze product, is delivering savings in excess of 70% for Servcorp through a combination of smart controls and the fact that 30% less fixtures are required to light the space. Servcorp also does not anticipate having to change a light for up to 25 years.

In addition to energy, time and maintenance savings, Nualight’s Blaze solution is optically tailored for office applications, creating a very fresh and natural light that can be precisely controlled to suit the working preferences of each department. There is a growing body of research across the lighting industry that is linking the right lighting with happier and healthier workforces.

Matt Baumgartner, Chief Information Office of Servcorp, commented: “Servcorp strives to create an inviting and comfortable working environent for both our teams and the 40,000 businesses that use our service. Nualight’s Blaze solution has created a happier and more productive working environment for both.”

Nualight ANZ, established in April, will be headquartered in Sydney with offices in Melbourne and Wellington.  The joint venture will be led by a management team with extensive experience in corporate real estate and lighting technology.

In addition to the Servcorp deal, Nualight ANZ has also secured an agreement to commence the refurbishment of Mirvac’s Allendale Square Building in Perth.  Nualight ANZ will target retrofit and new build projects in the Industrial and Retail Property sectors.
