National Lighting Bureau Appoints New Chairman

 David Errigo, vice president of sales for luminaire manufacturer LumenOptix, has been elected chair of the National Lighting Bureau (NLB), the independent, not-for-profit, lighting-education foundation sponsored by professional societies, trade associations, manufacturers, utilities, and agencies of the U.S. government.

Cary S. Mendelsohn, CEO of Imperial Lighting Maintenance Company (Chicago, IL), was elected vice chair of the Bureau, representing the interNational Association of Lighting Management Companies (NALMCO). Raymond E. “Ray” Kasmark, Jr., the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers’(IBEW’s) director of business development, was elected secretary/treasurer.

 Errigo joined LumenOptix in 2005, moving on to fill various positions in the company’s sales and marketing departments, supporting LumenOptix’ regional sales team and independent manufacturer’s representatives across the country. He was named LumenOptix’ vice president of sales in 2015. In the past, he has been LumenOptix’ representative to the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). He earned both a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal arts and a Master of Business Administration degree from Rider University (Lawrenceville, NJ).
