Jason Electric Announced 100mW UVC LED Product

Following launching the 10mW UVC LED products and the flowing water disinfection module at 2016, Jason Electric today announced that they have made a new breakthrough and will launch the product of 100mW UVC LED. This new product is very compact with dimension of 68mm*68mm, and can emit 275nm UVC light of 100mW. It makes it possible for designing the solution to deal with the mass flowing water and air purification application.

It is well-known that 200nm-280nm ultraviolet light can effectively kill the bacteria and virus through destroying the DNA, therefore, to prevent the bacteria from reproducing. In the past conventional UVC light source like mercury lamp has been widely applied in many applications. But mercury is one of the most poisonous materials and a huge pollution source to the earth, the whole world has started to plan to limit the use of mercury. While UVC LED is a compact green energy with long lifetime, higher efficiency and low power consumption, considered to be an ideal UV light source in the future. However, due to the relative low UVC LED light output power (from 1mW to 10mW) in the past years, UVC LED application room has been highly restricted. 

At the beginning of 2017, based on the innovation of HeaChips technology, with improved epitaxial growth, chip fabrication and the packaging, Jason Electric successfully developed 100mW 275nm UVC LEDs product. This cutting-edge product will further extend the UVC LED application. In the future company plans to provide 1000mW class UVC LEDs products, aiming for mass flowing water and air purification.

Since 10 years ago, Jason Electric has been dedicated to the development and manufacture of UVC LED. With built up proprietary HeaChips technology, Jason Electric owns ability from epitaxial growth, chip fabrication, packaging and application product design. The current product family contains all series of UV products, UVC LED(265nm and 275nm) for the disinfection, UVB LED(308nm) for the medical application and UVA(365~405nm) for the curing application.
