LED Light Show on Taipei 101 at New Year’s Eve

People around the world are getting ready to celebrate the coming New Year. In Taipei, Taiwan, the iconic Taipei 101 building has been a popular celebrating spot for locals and international visitors.

This year, an animated LED light show will shine with the annual Taipei 101 New year's Eve fireworks. The light show will be displaying Taiwan’s attractions with nine themes, including geographical landscape and culture diversity, according to Taipei Financial Center Corp, the organizer and the skyscraper manager.

The LED light show will be projected onto the façade of the building from the 35th to the 90th floors. The LED lighting system is called T-Pad, as explained by the organizers. Together with the light show, there will also be a six-minute fireworks by midnight on January 1st 2019.
