LED vertical integration manufacturer Lextar Electronics registered a revenue of NTD 760 million (USD 25.97 million) for February, down 21.7% MoM. The company attributed the revenue decline to the Chinese New Year holiday and product mix adjustment.

For the lighting market, Lextar has been actively developing high power LED lighting modules. Highly reliable products currently on the market include high power 3030 and 5050 LED modules tailored for high bay lights, industrial lighting, and outdoor lighting.

As for backlight applications, Lextar is working on new technologies such as quantum dot (QD) and Mini LED. It provides TV and gaming computer makers with high-end backlights that support features including HDR and wide color gamut (WCG).

The supply of IR and UV LED products remained sustained and stable, said the company. The company added that it will debut its new IR LEDs for 3D imaging and sensing at Light + Building 2018 in Frankfurt.
