Kinglight Unveils Its New Mini LED Backlight Product at ICDT 2021

At the 2021 International Conference on Display Technology (ICDT 2021) held between May 30 and June 2, Kinglight unveiled its new Mini LED backlight product and direct-lit Mini/Micro LEDs.

Kinglight’s Mini LED backlight packaged product was developed using the Mini POB solution, a packaging technique based on fine-pitch chip backlight devices. The flat packed product features a wide beam angle (>160°), high brightness, mature packaging process, long lifespan, high reliability, and good value. The product can also be customized according to different applications with varying OD and pitch requirements.

Additionally, Kinglight exhibited its direct-lit Mini/Micro LED solutions, the Jimu series. The product series unprecedentedly adopts thin-film integrated packaging, demonstrating excellent reliability, an ultra-high 1 million-to-1 contrast ratio, great brightness, and wide color gamut. The P0.6 pixel-pitch model is comparable to traditional LCDs regarding its resolution, which is suitable for the production of ultra HD 110-inch 4K and 220-inch 8K displays.

Kinglight added that the mass production of Jimu series has prompted the LED industry to enter the ultra HD LED age. The launch of its MiniLED backlight product not only diversifies the company’s production line but facilitates comprehensive upgrades of traditional displays, thereby boosting the development of Mini/Micro LED technology in China.
