Lextar September Revenue Dips

LED vertically integrated manufacturer Lextar had a September 2013 revenue of NT$1.14 billion, a 7.9 percent decrease compared with August and 13.1 percent growth from September last year. Total revenue for 3Q is NT$3.69 billion with a QoQ decrease of 3.87 percent.

Lextar said that due to the Chinese market reducing inventories for television applications, television shipments have slowed down. This has lead to a drop in September revenue. However shipments to top tier lighting brands in Europe and China of the new lighting packaging component 3030 has become the new style of high-powered component products for commercial lighting application.
