This autumn, BeyondUV Semiconductor Co., Ltd. marks a major milestone, introducing a revolutionary high-efficiency UV device that’s now ready to hit the market.

Building on the solid foundation of our reliable V1 chip, the R&D team has reimagined the design, optimizing both the process and structure. After extensive testing and breakthroughs, we proudly unveil the mass-production-ready V1Pro UV device, delivering an impressive wall-plug efficiency (WPE) of 7%.

As a leading manufacturer with large-scale production capabilities in the UV device sector, BeyondUV has subjected the V1Pro to rigorous validation through extensive testing and long-term aging trials. Now, this next-generation product is market-ready, delivering unprecedented performance. Compared to conventional UV devices, the V1Pro offers significantly higher light energy output under identical packaging and current conditions. For example, with a standard 10mil chip in a 3.5mm package, typical optical power is around 8mW@40mA. The V1Pro, however, doubles this output to 16mW@40mA, and achieves up to 22mW at 60mA—all without compromising its lifespan stability, maintaining an L70 above 10,000 hours. This superior performance extends across different chip sizes, including 20mil and 40mil configurations, mounted on 3535 and 5050 brackets, respectively. The transition from high-pollution mercury lamps to cleaner, more efficient UV devices is not only possible but inevitable, marking the dawn of a new era in UV technology.

In addition to its enhanced performance, the V1Pro effectively addresses one of the key challenges in UV device applications—thermal management, specifically the pressure related to heat dissipation and cost control.
