Display Week 2020, originally planned to take place during June 7-12 in San Francisco, USA, is now moved to August 2-7 by the event organizer, the Society for Information Display (SID). SID noted in its press release published in April 15 that the event has been rescheduled to protect health of the staffs, exhibitors, attendees with the threat of COVID-19. It is also expected that the postponement will enable business operations across the world to resume normal functioning.
On the other hand, the lighting design event LEDucation, which had been rescheduled from March to August due to the coronavirus threat, is now cancelled. The organizer, The Designers Lighting Forum of New York, addressed that participants including attendees and exhibitors can reply for full refund or they can rollover the fees to the event in 2021.
