LEDtronics Supports LED Ground Lighting for CLCX Locomotives

LEDtronics is reported to support CLCX, LLC (DBA Chattahoochee Locomotive Company) with LED ground lighting.

According to CLCX, LLC, LEDtronics' LED bulbs improved the lighting on the company's locomotives by "200 percent." That improved the light output, changed it from a pale yellow light to a daylight bright light, increased the bulb life by more than five times, and reduced the power draw by 90%.

The bulb replaced was the industry standard "A19." The LED bulb reduced the power draw from 25 watts for the A19 bulb down to 2.3 watts with the Ledtronics' Custom Part# BSD-1981-003.
