Philips Sells 80% Stake of Assembleon to H2 Equity Partners

According to a recent statement from Philips’ subsidiary Assembleon, Philips has agree to sell 80 percent of Assembleon to independent private equity firm H2 Equity Partners.

Assembleon is a SMT pick-and-place solutions provider with over 400 employees at its Veldhoven headquarters and regional offices in Alpharetta and Hong Kong.

H2 Equity Partners, founded in 1991 with offices in Amsterdam, Munich and London, controls 13 companies with some €1.6 billion (about $1.2 billion) in sales and approximately 6,000 employees.
