[News] CES 2025 Preview: Which LED Products Will Be Showcased?

CES 2025 is set to take place from January 7 to 10, 2025, in Las Vegas. Recently, several companies have released previews of their exhibits. What new LED products can we expect at this upcoming technology extravaganza?

TCL: Showcasing the World's Largest QD-Mini LED TV
TCL announced plans to introduce a range of innovative products and solutions at CES 2025. In the display segment, TCL will highlight the latest generation of Mini LED large-screen technology and the world’s largest QD-Mini LED TV. Other showcased products will include artistic TVs, gaming monitors, smartphones, tablets, projectors, Thunderbird AR glasses, in-car displays, and more.

In the smart home sector, TCL will present AI-powered companion products, air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, smart locks, security cameras, routers, photovoltaic technology, and intelligent automotive cabin solutions.

Hisense: Unveiling New ULED TVs and Mini LED Medical Displays
Under the theme "AI Your Life," Hisense will showcase its clusters of businesses, including smart living, smart energy, automotive electronics, and network information.

In the TV domain, Hisense plans to reveal its latest ULED series products, upgraded to the ULED AI picture quality platform with advanced AI technology. Featuring Hisense's AI chip, star-sea AI model, and imaging database, the platform delivers AI-powered picture quality through scene recognition, algorithm matching, and rendering.
According to media reports, Hisense might also unveil a 100-inch UX series Mini LED TV, boasting 40,000 dimming zones, 4K resolution, and a 144Hz refresh rate.
In the medical segment, Hisense will showcase the HME8C32U endoscopic monitor, featuring Mini LED backlighting and 4K resolution for vivid and precise visuals.

Samsung: Latest Neo QLED TV Series
Media reports suggest that Samsung will debut its latest Neo QLED TVs, including the QN90F and QN95F series, available in 4K and 8K resolutions. Sizes will range from 43 inches to a massive 98 inches.

In addition, Samsung will unveil new OLED TV models, such as the S85F, S90F, and S95F series, covering sizes from 48 to 83 inches with 4K resolution.

AUO: Micro LED Automotive Display Technology
AUO announced plans to expand its presence at CES 2025 under the theme "Infinite Future, Unlimited Possibilities." Collaborating with BHTC, AUO will showcase a new generation of smart cockpits integrating Micro LED technology with human-centric interaction design.

The company will also display energy-efficient AmLED technology, zero-energy Cholesteric LCD (ChLCD) displays, and green energy-powered laptop panels.

Vuzix: Micro LED Full-Color AR Smart Glasses
Micro LED AR glasses manufacturer Vuzix will showcase its latest AR smart glasses, featuring 1mm and 0.7mm thick waveguide technology with Micro LED and LCoS projectors. Vuzix will also display new OEM Ultralite smart glasses reference platforms, including dual-eye full-color AR models with microphones, speakers, and cameras.

Notably, in November, Vuzix launched the Z100 AR smart glasses with a single green Micro LED and waveguide display at a resolution of 640x480, priced at $499.

VueReal: Micro LED Design Reference Kits
Canadian Micro LED developer VueReal will introduce its first Micro LED design reference kits, aiming to streamline product development in sectors like automotive, AR, consumer electronics, and lighting. These kits are designed to help companies integrate Micro LED technology more efficiently and cost-effectively.

VueReal will also demonstrate its patented MicroSolid Printing™ technology, highlighting its capabilities at CES 2025.

LG Innotek: 5-Megapixel RGB-IR In-Car Camera Module
LG Innotek, a subsidiary of LG Group, has developed a high-performance in-car camera module with a 5-megapixel RGB-IR dual sensor—five times the resolution of existing products. This innovation enables clearer imaging and precise monitoring of driver and passenger behavior.

At CES 2025, LG Innotek will showcase its latest innovations, including this RGB-IR camera module.
