Major consumer electronic manufacturers such as Apple, Samsung, and Sony might be battling on the smartwatch front, but for the fashion-conscious the bulky designs have been rather unattractive. Keeping aesthetics in mind, a fairly new U.S.-based company, G-Wearables Team, has launched the world’s smallest LED fitness tracker.

The wearable device Goccia has completely eliminated the use of displays and is no bigger than a penny. In replace of displays, the device relies on LED lights as indicators for fitness progress.

Without wires or any sockets, the water-proof device is charged up wirelessly and uses a form of Li-Fi to sync with the smartphone. The device can run for 14 days on a single charge.

The Kickstarter project the company launched has received US$ 52,404 in funding, and interestingly includes an option for backers that put in more than US$ 5,000 to meet with the design team.
