General Electric’s 9-watt Energy Smart LED Llight Bulbs under the Test

Recently, 9-watt Energy Smart LED light bulbs from General Electric are tested in an oven at the lighting group's Nela Park headquarters in East Cleveland, Ohio.

Republicans in Congress and Americans have reached a deal to postpone until October enforcement of energy standards that many fear will be the end of 100-watt bulbs and fill stores with those more expensive curlicue fluorescent lightbulbs.

Environmentalists thought the delay was not a bright move.
