[News] CES 2025: Multiple Near-Eye Display Product Previews Released

In recent days, numerous companies in the near-eye display ecosystem have released teasers for their upcoming appearances at CES 2025. They promise to showcase cutting-edge technologies and innovative end-user products.

Sitan Technology to Highlight AR, Automotive, and Projection Micro LED Display Products
Micro LED display technology leader Sitan Technology announced its plans to showcase AR, automotive, and projection technologies at CES 2025.

Exhibits will include 0.13-inch, 0.2-inch, and 0.45-inch Micro LED display modules, as well as a 0.2-inch white-light Micro LED display module.

Notably, in June last year, Sitan Technology launched mass production of its Micro LED production line in Xiamen, China, with an annual capacity of 6 million display chips. This was China’s first mass-production line for single-panel bonded Micro LED. Since production began, the company has consistently operated at full capacity, and it now successfully delivered wearable device products to customers.

Sitan Technology is also accelerating the commercialization of advanced technologies such as deep ultraviolet Micro LED maskless lithography, aiming to integrate Micro LED technology into broader applications, including lithography machines.

Multiple Companies to Unveil New AR/VR Glasses in CES 2025
In addition to upstream companies showcasing near-eye display technologies, several end-product manufacturers are set to present new AR/VR glasses at CES 2025.

RayNeo: RayNeo, in collaboration with TCL, will unveil AI-powered glasses V3 and AI+AR optical waveguide glasses X3 Pro during CES. Both products feature AI models custom-developed with a leading Chinese AI firm. The Thunderbird V3 glasses, co-developed with Doctor Glasses, are expected to officially launch in Q1 2025.

Sony: Sony plans to host a press conference on January 6 at 5 PM (PST), ahead of CES. A teaser video hints at the potential unveiling of MR glasses and a spatial smart pen during the event.

INAIR: INAIR has announced plans to showcase its next-generation AI spatial computer, anticipated to be a combination of AR glasses and a computing hub, targeting workplace scenarios.

Pimax: Pimax is expected to exhibit VR headsets such as the Pimax Crystal Super and Crystal Light. Recently, Pimax launched the Dream Air headset, weighing less than 200g and equipped with an 8K Micro OLED display, which may also debut at the event.

Other companies, including DPVR, Thunderobot, Rokid, Vuzix, Play For Dream, Liweike, XREAL, eGlass, and ThunderSoft, have also announced their participation in CES 2025. These manufacturers are likely to reveal their latest AR/VR glasses at the event.
