vertical nitride LEDs output increased by 21%

According to researchers at Chonbuk National University and electronic components companyLG Innotek in South Korea, they have been using SAG to improve the performance of vertical nitride LEDs grown on sapphire. Compared with conventional vertical LEDs, a 21% increase in light output can be achieved in vertical nitride LEDs.
