Samsung Electro-Mechanics Made a Double Harvest in 2010

According to Samsung Electro-Mechanics, driven by increased demand for memory-chip components and LED parts, its earnings almost doubled in 2010.

Learning from the company said in a regulatory filing, its net profit surged 95 percent last year from a year earlier to reach 555 billion won (US$497 million).Sales grew 26 percent on-year to 6.97 trillion won, and operating income also rose 61 percent to 778 billion won.
